"I would like to share how wonderful my experience was participating in Harmony's therapeutic yoga sessions. I felt so very fortunate that I had this experience as it helped me in so many ways. I have suffered for a long time after having both knees replaced. My gait wasn't open enough. I didn't have great strength, balance, flexibility, and confidence using stairs.
I loved the beginning how she started with meditative guidance which helped to loosen me up and be de-stressed before going into the various yoga exercises.
These classes helped me to improve my balance, flexibility, and strength. She taught me to listen to my body, learn to be more aware of my movements, and always remember to breathe.

"I met Harmony 8 months ago when she was working towards completing her certification in Yoga Therapy. She was looking for clients who had knee, hip or shoulder replacements. I had a total knee replacement 9 months before and although the joint was now functional I was suffering from pain and limited range of motion.
Yoga Therapy with Harmony was amazing. I didn't realize specifically where my body tended to compensate for all the years I couldn't move properly on my problem knee. She helped me to understand functional movement helps to reduce soreness and decreases pain.
Our sessions have given me an increased awareness of how to move properly and
in balance. I learned that everything originates from the hip and shoulder joints. I tune into my body by listening to my yellow lights to prevent red lights and pain or tension in my problem areas.
Harmony is a great teacher. She watched me carefully and broke down the movement into its component parts. She asked questions and offered real solutions to issues I was having as the weeks went by.
My quality of movement and range of motion has improved significantly after the last 8 months! I didn't realize that even my back, ribs, neck and arms were stuck. Not only is my knee feeling better, but my whole body as well.

"Having been a student of yoga, I thought I knew what yoga therapy was going to be about. I soon discovered that they are not the same thing. After a consultation we started the session. The ambience that Harmony created made me feel comfortable at once. After just a couple of sessions she was able to guide me to an awareness of my body and show me what I needed to do. It was uncanny how she seemed to know just what I needed to focus on. I soon began to feel relief from the pain I was experiencing.
